Balkania held a presentation: “Sport against violence at schools” in Skopje

On 6 February 2017 BALKANIA held a presentation under the project:”SPORT FOR ALL”, related with ACTIVITY 1 Task 1 Sport against violence at schools- Sport against aggression.

The presentation was held in the primary school “Petar Pop Arsov” in Skopje where the project was presented to around 50 students of different ages.  The basis of the presentation was promoting sport not just as beneficial for the overall wellbeing but also supporting it as a tool for tackling aggression among young people. The main goal was to accentuate the importance of sport and sport activities from an earliest age and establishing sport as a means for preventing violence among youth.  The children showed great interest in the subject and best practices and personal experiences were shared by the students as well as the teachers.
