Balkania took participation in TCS seminar: culture of quality in VET.

On the 22 and 23 of September Balkania took participation in TCS seminar: culture of quality in VET.

The aims of the seminar are clear and simple, though very valuable regarding quality assurance in the Vocational education training:
-projects are supposed to result with change in society
– similar project should mainstream
– inspires professionals in VET to open minds, opening minds can lead to changing lives

The seminar was consisted of 4 rounds and few networking sessions, and about 40 participants from 16 different countries took part in it. Most of the participants have background in VET and education, as well as related fields.

A ‘quality toolkit’ was shared with us, contacting 34 tools developed to address teaching and quality staff and work field. The same can be found at www.qual4t-project.org/products

This toolkit was downloaded more than 5000 times, and used in more than 700 follow up project. It’s helpful for understanding quality, raising awareness of quality, facilitating structuring quality in all the levels of educational involvement.

Culture evaluation methods were introduced and tested, explained and their individual adaptations were discussed. Introducing a quality management system was presented and case studies were analized.
